It’s a rain filled start to the month of May here in CT. We need the rain, but the children are sad about the postponed May Faire! Hopefully today will herald in some lovely spring weather! We will still go out later on to drop off some May Day Baskets, and May Day songs will be sung, inside, Even if we have to wait for another day to dance around the May Pole.

This fun and cheerful banner is a pretty addition to your spring or Easter decorating! There are pink and blue and green and yellow felt balls strung on a pretty yellow crochet string along with twelve thick paper doilies with beautiful water color bunnies sparkle mod podged on!

I can also make this banner with butterflies instead of bunnies, or I can do six bunnies and six butterflies! The bunnies and butterflies are hand painted with Stockmar Watercolor paint on nice thick watercolor paper. They are punched out using a hand punch and I mod podge them on with sparkle for a nice happy spring feeling!

I can also use plain mod podge if you prefer, which would make them shiny but not so sparkly. I like the sparkle, it adds just a light shimmer, I also have glitter mod podge, but feel it is too heavy glitter, sparkle is a nice mid choice. Who doesn't want a little color and shimmer at this time of the year?

The banner is about seven feet long, but i have spaced out the felt balls, you can push them closer together for a shorter banner, or push them farther apart for a longer banner. Please just convo me if you would like me to add longer thread!

This is one of my pieces of Sea Glass Jewelry! Each one is totally unique and one of a kind! I find the sea glass in my travels around the east coast, mostly in CT, MA and ME. This glass is found this way, it has not been rock tumbled, truly found on the beach!! I hand wrap the sea glass in sterling silver wire and it is all secured with epoxy. The Dark Green piece is attached to the top of the frosted white piece with epoxy too.

This piece is strung on a strand of seed beads in a very ocean/water color theme. There are greens, and blues and some light pink and purple for the sunset or sunrise colors on the water. There are larger glass beads mixed in with the tiny seed beads as well. This is a very stunning piece of jewelry, truly one of a kind! The frosted white background piece is a lovely shape and rounded all over, the dark green piece mirrors the triangle of the white, but in the other direction. It looks like the bottom of a bottle, there seems to be letters or numbers, and has a nice texture, it is also very nicely rounded from being tumbled by the sea for years!

This sea glass necklace measures nine and a half inches from the decorative clasp to the top of the sea glass, and almost twelve inches with the glass included in the measurements!

This great little box used to be a a plain old waxed produce box. Now it is a beautiful, vintage music sheet, covered box that can be used for almost anyting!

Crayons, colored pencils, paper, cards, collections of marbles or rocks or glass animals.... It really is endless! I have a friend who keeps extra toilet paper in her bathroom. You could even keep small musical instruments in there, or sheet music.... It really is quite sturdy, you could use it for actual produce!

The box is 9 inches X 6 inches and almost 4 inches tall, but 6.5 inches tall with the handle included.

This headband is so pretty! It is a sweet orange and red rose made from light orange, mid orange and deep orange/red wool felt and sewn together with a very nice little red button. It is sewn hand with love by me. The flower has two green leaves made of wool felt. All the stitching is done by hand by me with love!

The rose is glued onto a nice thin plastic headband and is held securely in place with green wool felt. The headband is a yellow and is 1/4th of an inch at it's widest point.

The headband will fit a small child's head. It does not fit my eight year old. I would say it will fit from 4-8.

Owls are so big right now and with this kit you or your child can sew your own sweet owl made of recycled and felted wool!

I have done all the work of cutting out the pieces for you! Each kit contains an owl body, four circles for eyes, a beak and wing pieces, stuffing and nice thick embroidery thread in a coordinating color.

This is a great activity for you to do with your child or grandchild or just yourself! All you need to get to complete this kit is a sewing needle, and if you would like, you can add buttons or beads.

Each kit is different, so if you would like to see if I have a certain color or pattern, please email me and I will see what I can do! Otherwise all of the kits are great and I put them together with color combination that I think are very fun! I did all the work collecting and felting and cutting, you get all the fun of sewing and stuffing! I have included very clear, very easy directions!

This would be a great summer activity for your child to do by the pool or lake or beach, or just at home relaxing!
