Yesterday we painted with just blue and green paint in the wet on wet technique often used in Waldorf Education. First we painted a yellow circle, then painted in blue from the outer edge and using control not to let the blue touch the yellow so as not to create any green. Then we painted the same image in reverse. It takes quite a bit of control and force of will to begin on the outer edge of the paper with the blue paint, leaving a nice circle in the center of the paper for the yellow to be added in second. The yellow sun, blue sky paintings came out lovely! I then allowed the children a “free paint” painting. With just yellow and blue paint Rainey painted a beautiful ocean scene of Cape Cod MA. Her painting includes an ocean, mountain range, cottage, butterfly, sea gull, seal and a painted form drawing boarder. It’s quite amazing what can be created with just two primary colors and some imagination.

This is a beautiful 16 inch strand of Multi Color Baroque Pearls with Smokey Quartz!

Baroque pearls are simply pearls that have an irregular shape. The pearls in this necklace are all different shapes and colors. It is a very fun but still dressy! The pearls are pink and green and purple and lavender and red.

Each pearl is separated with a pretty smoky quartz bead. Smoky quartz is said to remove negativity and negative energy and to aid in transforming the negative into positive energy.

The lobster claw clasp is sterling silver and double crimped with sterling silver crimp beads!

I love this necklace, it will look good day or night, casual or dressed up!

This is a wool scrap crown. I just love making these! All the pieces of wool are upcycled from felted wool sweaters. All the pieces are wool, some are mohair some cashmere all are felted! They are hand strung onto elastic, the crowns will fit from toddler to adult. This is a very fun crown, boys and girls just love them! This wall hanging is needle felted by hand, and each is totally unique, your tree will be custom made for you, this is just an example of what they look like. The wall hanging is 8X11 and includes a nice rustic tree branch and 100% cotton thread for hanging.

The tree and background are needle felted onto 100% wool felt. The background of this one is a beautiful light blue, which shows through the wool felting a little when hung against a wall, and more so if hung in front of a window. You can get your tree just like this and add decorations of your own if you like, or I can either felt leaves onto the tree, or send along some green for you to add. We like to leave ours bare in the winter months and then add flowers or green or orange/red/yellow leaves as the season changes. This headband is so pretty! It is a sweet blue rose made from three shades of wool felt and sewn together by hand with love by me. The flower has two green leaves made of wool felt. It is all hand stitched!

The flower is glued onto a nice thin plastic headband and is held securely in place with green wool felt. The headband is a light blue and is 1/4th of an inch at it's widest point.

The headband will fit a small child's head. . I would say it will fit a 4-8 year old.
